Binge- Reading happens to be a new trend among the readers. There are many platforms like Wattpad, Novella and aJoara where you can read numerous short stories by new authors.
Recently, I have started reading short stories by some very good authors. Starting with 2 short stories, now, I manage to read up to 4 short stories a day. I have, eventually, explored some outstanding authors with their remarkable work, some are new, which I would love to share with you all.
1) Aubrey Elle
Aubrey Elle is a mystery author living in Ohio with her family. She loves her nature and animals. Aubrey has created and written Madis Harrah Mystery Series. I am reviewing one of her book named Ring Gone 'Round The Roses.
Wanda's ring is stolen and Madis is the suspect as she was present on the crime scene. Madis pledges innocence but Wanda, her childhood friend is of a different opinion. Wanda thinks Madis is guilty and should be arrested. Is Madis really guilty and planning a revenge on Wanda?

2) Michael Lynes
Michael Lynes is a historical fiction author living in Dubai with his family. He also won 2020 Emirates Literature Festival award for his work. Michael's debut novel, Blood Libel, an Isaac Alvarez Mystery was published in January 2021. He is presently working on his second book and planning for third instalment. The Lost Book of Hours is a short story written by Michael in The Isaac Alvarez Mystery.
The Book of Hours is lost and Maria Alvarez suspects everyone in her household. The book is very special for her family beliefs. She informs Isaac Alvarez, husband about the theft. Isaac starts his investigation and discovers some bitter revelations in turn. Will Isaac be able to find the book?

3) Jeff Dosser
Jeff Dosser is an award- winning paranormal, horror and fiction author and currently working as a software developer. Jeff's stories have been published in some famous magazines like Tales of Terror, Bewildering Stories and Iridium Zine. He has received Oklahoma Writer's Federation Award 2018 for Best New Horror Story for his book, Neverland.
Macabre Morsels is a horror short story collection by Jeff Dosser. The stories are interesting and full of zombies, vampires, ghosts and demons. Some stories are really creepy and will definitely give you chills.

4) Stephen King
Stephen King do not need any introduction as everyone in the book universe know him.
"Premium Harmony" by Stephen King was published The NewYorker Magazine 2009 Edition.
A couple stops at a convenience store but things take an unexpected turn. One event affects the other. A story with a totally unexpected ending.

5) Karen Joy Fowler
Karen Joy Fowler is a renowned Science Fiction, Fantasy and Literary Fiction author. She has some best selling novels to her credit one of which is "The Jane Austen Book Club" which was adapted as a major motion picture. Her debut novel "Sarah Canary" was awarded Commonwealth Medal for Best First Novel by a Californian. The author lives in Santa Cruz, California with her husband and grandchildren.

6) Anthony Doerr
Anthony Doerr lives in Cleveland, Ohio and is famous for his novel "All The Light We Cannot See". He also won Pulitzer prize for this novel.
The Hunter's Wife by Anthony Doerr was published as a short story in The Atlantic Magazine 2001 Issue.
Mr. Dumas is a hunter who is married to a girl half of her age. But with time, their relationship becomes more and more distant. His wife develops psychic powers and helps people to connect with the dead. The hunter thinks that it's all a sham. But, after 20 years he was invited by his wife to witness a life changing event. Will the hunter be able to believe in his wife's powers OR everything is really a sham?
