Drawing on his more than two decades of work in software and AI, Daniel's insights into the possibilities and pitfalls of a technology-driven future brings a unique and authentic voice to his debut science fiction thriller. A native US citizen, Daniel now lives in England on a smallholding with three dogs, thirty sheep, and two horses. When not taking care of the animals he will be writing.

Blurb

A girl is captured in a basement of a house. Everyday she follows same routine where her captor comes to her at 6 o'clock every evening and orders her to read a book. Her captor wants the girl to act like his daughter.

But where is that man's daughter and why did he captured that girl?

My Opinion

Hooked Till Last

Under The Shadow Sun by William Weisbeck is a short story of 29 pages. I read the book in one sitting. The story would not disappoint you as the climax is so mind blowing and totally unexpected. The story deserves a 5 star rating. Above all, the plot seems to be a normal one where a man kidnaps a girl but when I reached climax everything turned upside down.
