Character Portrayal

These Toxic Things by Rachel Howzell Hall have some diverse characters. Michaela, a girl who is dealing with her birth secrets and some cold killing cases shows an amazing courage to solve the murder mystery. She is the hero of the story who alone is fighting for justice alongside her personal life. The Antagonist is good and is only revealed till the end of the story which is really fascinating.

The tertiary characters are also equally perfect and interesting.
