Blurb

The world’s greatest detective has to travel abroad to solve his latest case and a P.I. travels to an unfamiliar yet recognizable town in search of clues. And as a witness’ life is put in jeopardy, a young women tries to free herself from captivity.

This, the second volume of Nailbiters, gathers together the latest tales of crime and psychological terror from bestselling and award-winning author and editor Paul Kane (The Family Lie, Exit Wounds). Complete with a sequel and tie-in to Her Last Secret and a prequel to the sellout #1 bestseller Her Husband’s Grave (both written as PL Kane), not to mention the script and audio drama of ‘A Nightmare on 34th Street’, plus an introduction by award-winning, bestselling author Martyn Waites (The Old Religion, The Sinner) this is one collection guaranteed to hit you hard!

My Opinion

Nailbiters Hard Bitten by Paul Kane is a collection of some weird short stories. The stories have a good start but eventually they become unnecessary long. The climax was a bit boring. Also, the book has a Sherlock Holmes story which was interesting. But, still I hoped the book to be a more thrilling one. Still the book is worth a one time read.

I would like to give the book 3 stars. Thanks to Book Sirens for providing me with an opportunity to read and review the book.
