Author Introduction
Dr. Stering Stobdan is a Ladakh based agriculture scientist at the Defence Institute of High Altitude Research. His research has influenced agriculture policies and his technological innovations have reached over 120 villages in Ladakh. He identified a native Apricot as the world's unique and sweetest Apricot that later became ladakh's first GI tag product. The Ladakh greenhouse technology he developed received the Prime Minister award for Excellence in Public Administration.

My Opinion
The author has also pointed out some complexities and challenges faced by the farmers. The language is easy to read and understand. It also suggests the best farming practices to follow for farmers. The book also shows how much agricultural practices have changed from past to present with the help of government and local people.
