My Opinion
The Pendulum of Justice Swings by Prithwish Ganguli is a legal procedural on a very famous rape case which shook whole India a few years back. While reading the book, some memories were back when we watched the whole case through news channels. The author has included all the legalities through which the conviction of Dhananjay Chatterjee, the convict could have been given justice. He also stated that somewhere he believes that he was an innocent fellow and also gives justifications for his wrong acquittal. It is my first time reading a legal procedure and I found it quite interesting with all the case references. The book will give you a vibe of a legal thriller.
We all know what happened to Dhananjay Chatterjee and the author raises some very crucial questions at our Indian Judicial System. Also, the book can be an easy reference for the law students. Definitely the book deserves 5 stars and a full recommendation.
