This book portrays a fictional depiction of our own universe and how it came into existence billions of years ago. The book attempts to visualize what must have transpired billions and billions of years ago in the skies and how did the various spatial entities, including us, the earthlings, come into being from nowhere. You will catch subtle references to many celestial bodies of the cosmic realm as you progress through this book. Most of their names used in the book have been tweaked for creative representation. Whilst the book is set in the past, and rewinds to many light years ago, it also leaps forward and time travels into an imaginary future of what will the skies behold, billions of years from now. The book particularly casts a spotlight on the existence of dark and its various states. Dark revelations come to light as it engineers its existence across many forms. A menacing truth surfaces, that is subtle, yet very intimidating. Can the light break its tenacity and continuum and reign as an all-pervading energy? Only time will tell.

My Opinion

Order of the Dark by Sunita Joshi is a narrative of the universe when there was just darkness everywhere. How the universe came into existence averting the dark matter, what was she thinking, the author has very beautifully narrated these incidents. It is the universe talking to us. A very thoughtful and soulful book and you are going to enjoy every bit of it. Also, the conversations between Neutro, Magneto and Meth is very interesting. The most interesting part of the book is that the author has given some specific names to Sun and the other planets, which is really magical. And, after that comes the ultimate creation, life. A must read for everyone who love to read science fiction.
