Author Introduction
Karmen Spiljak is a Slovenian-Belgian writer of suspense, horror and speculative fiction. Her short fiction has been awarded and anthologised. Her short story collection, Add Cyanide to Taste, won the 2022 IndieReader Discovery award for best short stories/Fiction. Her thriller, No Such Thing as Goodbye, was shortlisted and received an honourable mention at The Black Spring Crime Fiction Prize 2020. She lives in Belgrade with her husband, two mischievous cats and an undefined number of literary characters.

My Opinion
Pass the Cyanide by Karmen Spiljak is an amazing collection of mystery short stories. The book is so interesting that I finished within a fortnight. The stories are all related to poison, and cooking is a very unique topic. If you ask me, I would not be able to put a finger on my favorite story as all of them are distinct and amazing. The author's writing style is very simple, making it perfect for beginners. The cover speaks for itself. Although this book is the second part in the series but you can read it as a stand alone. I really liked the book. The book deserves 5 stars, and thanks to Rachel's Random Resources and the author for providing me with an opportunity to read and review the book.
