My Opinion
"The Bestseller" by Jenny Knightsby is a mystery thriller book about the complicated friendship of two women. "The Bestseller" begins with an interesting hook, and Belle's point of view provides a good pace in the first couple of chapters. Nevertheless, I thought the book should have had some surprises to make it really thrilling. In reality, the majority of the book deals with developing characters, which results in making the mystery part very slow-paced. Although the emotional aspect of the relationships of the characters is very well-written, there is not much action in the book until the climax.
