Tracy Buchanan is an amazing author. I have already reviewed Circle of Doubt by Tracy Buchanan. I love her writing. So, when Trail of Destruction was available on Netgalley, I requested it right away.

My Opinion

Unforgettable and Wonderful Tale

Trail of destruction by Tracy Buchanan is a wonderful, fast and page -turner story set in Forest Grove. The plot is so gripping that you would not be able to take your eyes off. The characters may not seem perfect which makes the story more interesting. With each page the plot takes a new turn. The book has everything, Romance, Thrill and Suspense. Trail of Destruction is worth adding in your TBR. Also, to add the climax is mind boggling. I would surely give the book 5 stars. Thanks to Netgalley for giving me an opportunity to review the book.

Character Portrayal

I am in love with the characters of Trail of destruction by Tracy Buchanan. My favorite character is Ellie who is trying to strike a balance with her kids and love life. She has flaws, depressed with her life but still tries to manage everything. She has friends like Vanessa and Meghan who support her.

But, the other characters like the residents of Forest Grove are nasty characters. Each character has been given a detailed portrayal. They like cursing others, making fun of each other. They are really irritating which you would want to avoid in real life.

Narrative Style

The book, Trail of destruction by Tracy Buchanan is narrated from author's POV. Tracy Buchanan's writing is simple and understanding. There are some flashbacks but, you can clearly have an idea while reading that what is happening and when it happened.
