Author Introduction

Indian businessman Ashneer Grover is the former co-founder and managing director (MD) of the Indian fintech company BharatPe which he co-founded along with Shashvat Nakrani and Bhavik Koladiya in 2018. Grover also appeared as an investor on the reality TV show called 'Shark Tank India'.

Before establishing BharatPe, he worked in many firms including; Kotak Investment Bank, Grofers, PC Jeweller Ltd and American Express. Ashneer's wife Madhuri Jain Grover, who is also an entrepreneur, served as the head of control at BharatPe since its incorporation and headed procurement and admin departments.

My Opinion

I would like to give the book 4 stars. Ashneer Grover's Doglapan recounts the life of the author in an adventurous way. The author narrates his story from his childhood achievements to his corporate endeavors. He also has a short romantic tale about his personal life. But, the book is for the readers who understand the corporate terms and events, otherwise , the book is going to be a bit boring. I enjoyed the book and really, I felt amazed with all the details of the author's ups and downs in his life. Also, I liked the narrator's voice which was clear and understandable. I would like to mention that although I really admire Ashneer Grover's achievements, but somewhere the book is just written to clear up the mess created by the controversies against him.
